Adding lime (lemon yellow) to combinations of red, green and blue creates new shades that are unattainable with traditional RGB mixing. For example, it is well known that yellow ranges are the weak point of RGB sources.
RGBW (addition of a white LED) increases overall luminosity, but at the expense of colour saturation. The Lime source (lemon yellow) reduces these shortcomings and achieves unrivalled amber and red tones.
